A short trip which is entirely dedicated to the Kathmandu valley, the capital of Nepal. An opportunity to discovery this extraordinary city and its valley with small towns rich in history with a medieval flavour, some declared to World Heritage Sites. Open your arrival to Kathmandu international airport, we move immediately with our shuttle to the ancient Bhaktapur city. The 5-roofed Nayatapola temple is an important example of Newari architecture and is the tallest in the valley. We continue our tour by visiting Patan, the oldest of the royal cities in the valley. Declared a World Heritage Site with lot of temples, statues and historical buildings. From Nagarkot you will be able to see the sunrise or sunset at the scenery of the Himalayan peaks. We continue to visit Budhanilkanta, the representation of Vishnu, third person of the Trimurti, lying on the water. As well as we visit Kopan monastery, beautifully situated to north hill side of Kathmandu. Then Bauddnath with the huge white stupa considered the most important center of Nepalese Buddhism and Pashupatinath, the Varanasi of Nepal where you can attend the ceremony of the cremation of the deceased and the spreading of the ashes in the waters of the Bagnati. The temple consecrated to Vishnu is the most important Hindu place of worship in the whole of the southeast. Changu Narayan, atop a hill with a temple dedicated to Vishnu dating back to the 4th century is one of the seven UNESCO protected sites in the valley. We move to Kathmandu with its pagodas, the streets crowded with shops of all kinds, the characteristic Thamel, the house of Kumari and the inevitable Durbar square. We also visit to Kirtipur, a town immersed in the Middle Ages in an enchanted atmosphere as well as rich in artistic testimonies, to Pharping and Dakshinkali, to Swayambhunath Stupa know as monkey temple dominates Kathmandu with its large eyes from the top of the hill where it stands.
